Nice job guys. I’m always impressed with your video content.

Bruno—the first song they play is ‘You Only Live Once’ by the Strokes. Followed by ‘Electriccityscape’ (Strokes) and ‘Dani California’ (Red Hot Chili Peppers).

All about the ‘Glimpses’. smile

Hey Robin

Strange, I think the first song isn’t “you only live once” from strokes. Thats a total different song ... any other possibility?

Hey Daniel,

Really geeky question here, what font did you use in that video?
Does anyone else know?

Cheers,
Christoph

Great video, what camera was it made with? the quality is awesome?

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. Robin is correct on the song titles. The video was shot on a Canon XL-2. The font used in the beginning is called DIN. It’s not free, it’s a commercial font available in many styles from fontfont.com.

Hey,
Just a question who was the guy infront of the Camera?
Daniel Hollister or Geoff Rude or someone else?
It’s just he reminds me of a past friend.

Thanks

I filmed much of the video, but I was the one commenting at the beginning and end. (And viciously eating the pastry.)

From what I’ve seen it looks awesome. Who video edited it?

I did.

What software did you use? iMovie, Final Cut?

Daniel Hollister

Final Cut Pro. Always.

Ok. Final Cut pro is a little expensive for me. Could you do that thing with the text and the music in iMovie.

There is no trick to what I did. I literally just manually changed the text in every single frame to match the music. That’s it.

Hey Daniel,

Would you like to create a video for the 100th episode of my video podcast. It has all Apple and iPod ads. You can advertise MacTeens or your website at the end and beginning. I just thought that I am really too much of a beginner to create a video for my podcast audience.

Don’t bother. I did it myself. Take a look at my attempt to do some decent editing of Apple and iPod ads here.
